Anthony Ward Thomas and sister company Aussie Man and Van set off for the French Alps just before Xmas for one of our interior design companies with furniture and fitting for 5 brand new Chalets in the popular resort of Val d’Isere.
After gathering all the pieces at our warehouse in Park Royal over a period of three months, the convoy of 5 trucks hit the road with a combined crew of 10 of our finest removal men to Dover and through the Channel Tunnel and headed south via Paris for the Alps.
A combination of 18 ton Removal Lorries and vans drove for nearly 900 miles before arriving at their final destination.
After two days of loading, unpacking, and arranging all the items in the various new chalets our customer was happy every item was in the right location and ready for a new season before the snow fell in December.
So sadly no day off on the slopes for the Anthony Ward Thomas ski team, but maybe next time?
